Day 41

Milkulas (a sort of Father Christmas character) outside my window in prague. Every year a demon, an angel, and Mikulas walk down the streets of prague. The demon frightens the children, and then the children must convince the angel and Mikulas that they have been good all year. If their testimony is convincing they receive candy. Generally they must sing a song (to prove they are not demon children) and they will receive a small present (usually candy). If you think this is weird, you may be surprised to hear that on christmas day Santa does not bring gifts, but instead Jezisek (Itty Bitty Jesus) .

In the evening I went to see my friend vasek play at NOD . He played with my friend Beseppy .  It was the cd release for Vasek’s new Selfbrush Cd which is entitled For a New Mother.
